GS Pupil brings home bronze medal from the Milo Taekwando Tournament

 

Patricia Rose F. Lozano led the St. Louis College Grade School Team to the recently concluded Milo Little Olympics held last September 3, 2005 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.


Green Hornet Patricia gave her best shot to win the bronze medal against her opponent.  It was her first time to join a competition after only two months of training under Sir Achilles Ponce.  She is among the 40 regular trainees who attends the Friday afternoon Taekwando class.  Joining Patricia in the tournament are Jaemer, Carlo, Kendridge, Carmela, and Jerome.

SLCV’s HRM Students Made It Through The Final 6
Century Tuna’s Culinary Meet 2005

 

St. Louis College Valenzuela applauds Maricris J. Nepomuceno, Lea G. Perez and Queency N. Zafra for being selected as Finalist in the Century Tuna Culinary Meet 2005 - Student Division.  The Grand Finals of the competition was held last Sept. 18 at the Market Market.  Ms. Anna Mae C. Tameta is the adviser of the HRM students.

 

120 participants from 40 colleges and universities around the country sent their original recipes using Century Tuna products.  The Panel of Judges conducted a Preliminary screening that selected 12 recipes for each division and category for the Semi-finals.  A recipe test was done to select the final six entries per division and category.

 

The finalist in the Student Division – Tuna Hors-D’Oeuvres Attack were: La Consolacion College, OB Montessori, Center for Culinary Arts, Lyceum Batangas, Arellano University and St. Louis College Valenzuela.

 

Our HRM students’ entries were Century Tuna Stuffed Tomato with Garlic Sauce, Century Tuna Cheese Balls and Century Tuna Wheat Toast with Kesong Puti.
